Specialist goalkeeper brand Uhlsport will be using the European Championship in Poland and the Ukraine to help rase funds for the Robert Enke foundation. Uhlsport has also developed a limited European Championship special collection around its core product which is now on sale at most specialist sport retailers.

A proportion of the proceeds from this collection is being donated to the ROBERT-ENKE-FOUNDATION and will help renovate and equip an outpatients’ room for children with heart conditions at the paediatric unit in Hanover.

“The ROBERT-ENKE-FOUNDATION gives Uhlsport the opportunity to actively support a facility that will benefit children with heart conditions. There was no question for us that we wanted to do that during the European Championship said”, Melanie Steinhilber, head of marketing and sponsoring at Uhlsport.

Children suffering from heart defects have a reduced life expectancy. The paediatrics unit at Hanover medical school takes extra special care of them and is supported by the ROBERT-ENKE-FOUNDATION.
