Chelsea’s goalkeeper Petr Cech has dismissed calls that more needs to be done to tackle bad language in football.
Cech was speaking to Sky sports news ”If every player on the pitch had a microphone, I think some of the people would be surprised by what can be said on the football pitch in terms of frustration, happiness, joking and all sorts of stuff.
“Football always has been and always will be the same. You have a lot of adrenaline, a lot of joy, a lot of frustration. It’s always been the same in every sport. You can’t really take this away from the game”.
Cech and the majority of the Chelsea squad are in Seattle for the first game of their pre-season tour in America.
