Notts County Football Club have signed Ex Southampton goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski.

The 24-year-old Polish goalkeeper made just 40 appearances for Southampton since 2006 and spent most of his time playing number 2 to inform Kelvin Davis, but his contract at the Premier League new-boys expired earlier this summer.

Bialkowski has now signed a three-year contract with League One side Notts County, and he hopes to help the Magpies to promotion next season.

“I’m really excited to be here, to join such a big club as Notts County, and hopefully next year we will win promotion,” the Pole told the club’s official website.

“I came here because I want to play football and I will do my best to prove that I can be a top keeper. I have not given up on the national team, I still want to play for Poland.”
